G*STARS to Celebrate 16 Years at National Association of Workforce Boards (NAWB) Forum
HUDSON, Wis. – March 9, 2016 – AGS Data Systems (AGS) will commemorate its 16th year at the National Association of Workforce Boards (NAWB) Forum on March 12-15 in Washington, DC and will showcase its G*STARS tracking and reporting system for managing participants “beyond WIOA”.
“The NAWB Forum has always been a wonderful event to meet with our many workforce friends,” explained Susan Harden, Vice President of Sales and Marketing at AGS. “We look forward to seeing everyone in DC in a couple days!”
While much of the Forum’s workshop topics and overall messaging is focused on the Workforce Innovation and Opportunity Act (WIOA), G*STARS distinguishes itself as the tracking and reporting solution for managing all participants, not just WIOA participants. “AGS has been around since 1999. Senior staff, including myself, worked with the Department of Labor to build the first One Stop Operating System in 1996. That’s why we understand that WIOA is important, but that workforce boards often need a solution for managing more than just WIOA participants,” explained President of AGS, Derrick Edwards.
Keeping with tradition, AGS will hand out an attendee favorite from past conferences – handmade “G*STARS chocolates” topped with a yellow candy star, crafted by the Knoke’s chocolatier near AGS’ headquarters in Hudson, Wisconsin.
